Porters is open with all lifts spinning from 9am.

Today will be more of the same - wall to wall snow, blue skies, light winds and pleasant temperatures. Get on up and enjoy it while it lasts – we are expecting a change in the weather towards the end of the week.

At 5:45am, we have clear skies, and light winds at all elevations. This is forecast to continue throughout the day. The temperature is currently 4 degrees. Bring the sunblock and smiles!

Our intermediate trails and learners areas are in fantastic shape after recent natural snowfall, topped up by snow making. We have groomed McNultys and Stellar wide overnight, and we expect to get Big Mama and Bluff Face open again today.

Chains are required on all vehicles from chain bay 3 at Longspur.

Please fit them where indicated. We do not sell or hire chains.

If you don’t have chains, or would prefer not to drive our access road, there will be a free shuttle for skiers and snowboarders. Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.

Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar, just 6km up our access road, will be open for coffee from 9am, and meals from 11am. Pop in for a bite to eat after your day on the mountain, the food will impress.

Snowplay at the Lodge will be open from 10am-4pm today.
