Snow Report
Last update: Thursday, 10th Sep 2026
Porters is open with all lifts spinning from 9am.
Today we are excited to welcome back winter. It’s going to be a day of storm skiing, with snow and cold temperatures, but not too much wind in the forecast. We expect to see 10-15cm of new snow today, so dress warm, get some low light lenses in your goggles and prepare to have some fun!
At 5:45am, the temperature in the base area is 0 degrees. There is a light southerly wind at all elevations. Visibility is in and out in snow showers.
We have groomed Sundance and our upper and mid mountain trails through McNultys, down into Stellar Cat Track, Easy Street, the Platter and Magic Carpet.
There will be some good snow off trail, but please ski and ride with care as there are rocks and thin coverage in places.
Chains are required on 2wd vehicles from chain bay 3 at Longspur - please fit them where indicated. Please note that we do not sell or hire snow chains.
Our free shuttle service will be doing return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.
Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar will be open for coffee from 10am and meals from 11am.
Snowplay is closed.
