Porters is open with all lifts spinning from 9am.

At 5:45am we have high cloud, light to moderate north westerly winds in the base area, increasing to moderate on the upper mountain. The temperature is 5 degrees. The forecast is for scattered high cloud all day, and winds reducing as the day progresses.

We have groomed upper mountain trails through McNulty’s and Stellar Bowl, and mid and lower mountain trails on Easy Street and the learners area overnight.

With warming temperatures, we should see snow surfaces soften throughout the day, and will be opening as much terrain as possible. There will be some fun skiing and riding on offer today.

Our road today is chain free. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter, as conditions can change rapidly.

Our free shuttle service will be doing return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.
