Closed today, as we are getting hammered by the first big storm of winter 😊

It started snowing hard early this morning, and we have an estimated 10-20cm from this storm so far, with much more expected over the next few days.

Currently there are strong southerly winds at all elevations, with low visibility.

The forecast is for heavier snow this afternoon and overnight, with more to come over the next few days. We expect to see this storm start to move away on Thursday.

We will need to see how things play out over the next couple of days, before we can make a plan to get Porters open. We have everythng in place to make this happen as soon as possible.

It’s nuking 😊 We are super excited to get winter 26 underway and to welcome all of our guests back to Porters for another winter of good vibes and fun.

Our access road is closed from the gate at the state highway. There is no access permitted to the Lodge or ski area until the storm has cleared and we able to complete control work.
