Closed today – there will be a brief break in the storm today, but we are expecting it to return for one last blast overnight, with another 20-30cm forecast from this evening through to tomorrow morning.

The storm total for the week is 90cm. We estimate a minimum 50cm on the ski area, with more at higher elevations. There are wind stripped spots and very large drifts in places. The snow that has come through in this storm is mostly heavy, which should be the start of a great base forming for the season.

We are still waiting for weather to clear, so that we can assess what needs to be done to get open. We hope to be able to do this tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning.

Our access road is closed from the gate at the state highway. There is no access permitted to the Lodge or ski area until the storm has cleared and we able to complete control work.
