Snow Report
Last update: Friday, 7th Aug 2026
At 5:45am we have partly cloudy skies, light northwesterly winds in the base area, increasing to light to moderate on the upper mountain. The temperature is 0 degrees. The forecast is for similar conditions to continue throughout the day, with a chance of some snow late afternoon.
We have had a great run of snowmaking on our lower mountain intermediate and beginner trails over the last few days, and these will be a lot of fun this morning, groomed wide and with perfect cord.
Upper and mid mountain trails through McNulty’s and Stellar Bowl are holding great snow, and after overnight grooming, will be the pick of the day once again. The northwest wind could give us some wind-blown stashes to play with later on.
Our road today is chain free. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter, as conditions can change rapidly.
Our free shuttle service will be doing return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.
Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar will be open for coffee from 10am, and meals from 11am.
Snowplay at the Lodge will be opening at 10am today. Chains are not required to access the Lodge or Snowplay.
