1:45pm update: The Chair, Platter & Carpet are now open.

The strong winds that we had overnight and yesterday are expected to drop back from mid morning, and it looks like we will have a nice day ahead. It will be a bit breezy, but the sun will be out and there will be some fun to be had. Lifts this morning may be subject to wind hold at times.

The temperature in our base area is 3 degrees. There is a moderate westerly wind in the base area with stronger gusts.

We have school races this morning on skiers left of Easy Street.

The best skiing and riding will be on groomed trails first thing, but the sun may soften other areas later this morning.

Chains are not required for our access road today. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter, as conditions can change rapidly.

Our free shuttle service will be doing return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.

Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar will be open for coffee from 10am, and meals from 11am.

Please note there is no touring access above the chair unload today, as we have machinery working on the mid mountain
