11am update: We have closed the chair lift for the day - consisted wind speeds are exceeding our operating threshold. The platter and carpet lifts are still operational.

Porters will be open this morning with the chair lift, platter and magic carpet lifts spinning. We will not be opening our T Bars today.

The temperature at 5:45am is 3 degrees. There is patchy high cloud this morning.

There is a moderate northwest wind on the lower mountain, increasing to moderate to strong on the upper mountain. The wind is forecast to increase a bit as the day goes on. We may see wind holds on the lifts at times, and if it gets too strong we may have to close early.

The best skiing and riding today will be on the groomed trails.

Chains are not required for our access road today. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter, as conditions can change rapidly.

Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day picking up at Chain Bay 2, and the Lodge on request, at 8:45am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am and 11:00am.

Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar will be open for coffee from 10am, and meals from 11am.
