Terms and Conditions - Festive Offers

 

  • Offers available until 11:59pm 31st December 2021.
  • No blackout dates on 2022 winter products
  • All lesson offers are subject to availability on the day.
  • Accommodation offers subject to availability
  • 10, 5 and 3 ride shuttle cards are usable for public shuttles, operating every second Sunday ( Next date is  19th December ).

 

 

Terms and Conditions Mountain Bike Shuttles

 

The following Terms & Conditions apply to public mountain bike shuttles and private mountain bike shuttles.

· Pre-bookings are essential for private shuttles. Payment online does not constitute as a booking unless previously confirmed by Porters staff.

· 10 ride concession cards are for use on the public shuttles and can be used by multiple people, each person on the shuttle will count as one ride on the card.

· Public shuttles are run on a first-in first-served basis on the specified dates only. Concession cards do not guarantee you a spot on the public shuttles. Please email to enquire about potential shuttles on other dates.

· The 10 ride concession cards and private shuttles purchased online are valid until 30th April 2022 (the final date of the shuttles are dependent on weather conditions). Rides remaining on concession cards will expire on this date and will not be able to be transferred to the next season.

· Once purchased the shuttle passes are non-refundable under any circumstance, even if you are unable to visit on your preferred date due to poor weather conditions, availability or personal circumstances.

· Face masks or coverings will be required to be worn on shuttles. Please also scan in using the QR codes provided. (Rules and regulations regarding Covid are subject to change with new guideline updates)

· All rates printed/published by Porters Ski Area are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD$), are true and correct at the time of printing/publishing and are subject to change at any time without notice.

· Please note these are the terms and conditions for the online purchase of the shuttle pass, separate terms and conditions will apply for the use of the shuttle.

· Porters is not responsible for any injuries or damage to yourself or your property while on this service. In case of emergencies, we will assist in contacting emergency services, however cannot provide medical assistance. We also ask that you load and secure your own bikes to the trailer.

· People aged 16 years and under require a guardian to accompany them on the shuttle.

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all season pass holders for the 2022 winter season

 

  • The 2022 Season Pass is valid for the pass holders personal use from the date of issue until the close of the 2022 season at Porters Ski Area on all days when the lifts are operating
  • All students must show Tertiary Institution full ID and proof of full-time status to uplift their pass. Available for New Zealand and Australian Students only. An apprentice earning a wage while learning is not considered to be enrolled fulltime at a tertiary institution. Please contact us if you are unsure
  • The Season Pass is non-transferable and is valid for the use by the pass holder only
  • The Season Pass holder is responsible for any unauthorised use of the Season Pass unless the Season Pass has been reported lost or stolen. A $5 charge will be made for a replacement pass
  • Misconduct may result in the revocation of the Season Pass without refund. Any decision will be at the sole discretion of Porters Ski Area management. The meaning of ‘misconduct’ includes reckless skiing or snowboarding, failure to obey signs, closures and policies of the ski area, failure to obey the snow responsibility code, the provision of false information herein or breach of any other terms or conditions expressed or implied relating to the use of the ski area.
  • The company may alter the terms and conditions applying to this pass at any time without notice. The pass remains the property of Porters Ski Area at all times
  • All rates printed/published by Porters Ski Area are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD$), are true and correct at the time of printing/publishing and are subject to change at any time without notice
  • Once purchased, a Porters season pass cannot be refunded under any circumstance even if it has not been used at all due to personal circumstances or poor weather / snow conditions. If a customer chooses to purchase the warranty option, the passholder may transfer the season pass to the following season, provided all warranty terms and conditions have been met and a written request to transfer the pass is received by 3rd July 2022. The cost of the warranty is non-refundable
  • To be eligible for youth rates, the youth must be 17 at the commencement of the 2022 winter season.
  • If we do not open in 2022 due to Covid-19 levels then the SP will be transferred to 2023
PORTERS SEASON PASS WARRANTY
  • Without purchasing the pass warranty option, the value of your season pass is non-transferable under any circumstances
  • The price of the warranty option is $20 for each pass holder.
  • The season pass warranty is only valid when purchased concurrently with your season pass
  • The season pass warranty includes a snow conditions warranty. If you are not happy with the conditions of the snow (until 3rd July 2022) you may transfer your season pass to the 2023 season.
  • If you need to claim against your warranty for what you believe to be marginal snow conditions, or you have suffered an injury that prevents you from skiing/snowboarding, we must receive your request in writing by 3rd July 2022 via email communication to office@skiporters.co.nz
  • We will not accept warranty claims after 3rd July 2022.
  • All 2022 warranties are valid for the 2022 winter season. The applicable value/pass purchased may be up taken in the 2022 season provided all warranty terms and conditions have been met. If the warranty is not taken in the 2022 season, the warranty expires on 5th July 2022
  • Should the warranty be claimed during the 2022 season and the pass transferred to the following season, the warranty shall then expire and no further transfer of the initially purchased season pass may occur thereafter
DELIVERY

All early and pre-season sales of season passes will be processed prior to opening day of the 2022 season provided we have received the following;

 

  • All required information, correct and complete.
  • An appropriate and recent passport style photo for each pass (if you have had a Porters season pass previously, there is no need to send a new photo)
  • All students must show a current student NZ or Australian tertiary ID card showing fulltime status before collecting their pass.

If you still have your 2021 pass, please keep hold of it and visit Porters Guest Services on your first day here to validate your pass for the 2022 season.

Terms and Conditions Online Purchases

The following Terms & Conditions apply to Day Passes, First Timer’s Packages and Gift Vouchers.

  • The purchases made online are valid from the date of purchase until the last day of season for the season in which they are purchased, unless otherwise stated on the product.
  • Once purchased the passes and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance, even if you are unable to visit on your preferred date due to personal circumstances, or poor weather/snow conditions.

If we are not able to accommodate you on your preferred date due to mountain capacity or lesson availability, and you are not able to visit on another date that season we will transfer the booking over to the next season.

  • For First Timer’s Packages, lessons are subject to instructor and lesson availability. Lesson check ins will close 30 minutes before lesson times. We will accept bookings for lessons via phone or email 24 hours in advance to the lesson time, subject to availability.
  • Gift Vouchers are valid in Guest Services until the last day of season of which they are purchased. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full and is valid for a single transaction only.
  • All students must show Tertiary Institution full ID and proof of full-time status to uplift their pass. Available for New Zealand and Australian Students only.
